My Story
Meet Abbe(y), LPC-S, CTRS | Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor | Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

With more than 23 years as a licensed counselor and 32 years as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), I bring an eclectic and evidence-based approach to therapy. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Strategies, Recreational Therapy, and Choice Theory to create sessions that are practical, empowering, and deeply personal.

I provide counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families, helping clients navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and find greater balance in their daily lives. My clients experience therapy as a collaborative partnership built on trust, compassion, and respect — never “cookie-cutter” or surface-level care.

In addition to therapy, I offer clinical supervision for LPC-Associates, blending mentorship, accountability, and professional growth for new clinicians entering the field.
